A Perth man has died after a heart attack, aged 57.

Scott Tyree Tyree, from the western suburbs, was taken to hospital on Wednesday evening with the condition of cardiac arrest.

Police said Mr Tyree’s condition was not considered life-threatening.

He was found dead by a family member, who found the 57-year-old in his bedroom, at his home in the city’s north-west.

Mr Tyreee’s family said he was suffering from a heart condition and his death was a tragic loss.

The Perth man was an avid gardener, and was a father of two, he said.

“I can’t tell you how sad I am, and how sorry I am,” he said on Tuesday.

“It was a very sad time.

I just couldn’t believe it,” she said.

Mr Trish said her husband had been a gardener for 35 years.

“This is a man who’s worked his whole life, he’s been a gardener, he did his first job in his life,” she told news.com.au.

“There was no way that he could have lost his life.”

Police said they were investigating the death.

“At this time we do not have any further information to share,” a police spokesman said.
