Car crashes through a parked car on the busy Castlereagagh Street in Dublin, injuring at least 11 people.

The driver of the car fled the scene.

The car crashed into a parked van in the centre of the street and then another van stopped in the middle of the road.

At least 11 are believed to have been injured, including the driver.

The number of people injured was not immediately known.

Police said they were treating the incident as a road traffic incident.

On Friday morning, the Irish Times reported that the driver of a white car was arrested for failing to stop at a traffic light in the city centre.

Two other cars were also involved in the crash and the driver was released.

Last night, gardai said a car which had a white tint was involved in a serious collision on Castlereagon Street in the early hours of the morning, injuring one person.

In a separate incident, a woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries in the Clontarf area of Dublin.

The woman was a passenger in a white Ford Fiesta car.
