Lyricist to perform a new song about death in 2016

The artist recently released his new album Lyricism: The Death of Life, which features tracks like “Death Is All Around Us,” “Death Will Come for You,” and “Death Isn’t All That Matters.”
Crayon spoke with Billboard about his new song, which was inspired by his favorite movie: The Hunger Games.
“I think there’s a certain element of, ‘This is the thing I can’t really talk about because there’s no one else to talk about it with, so I just made it up,'” he said.
“I didn’t even know the Hunger Games existed, but the music is based on the movie.”
The Lyricists song was written while listening to the soundtrack of the film, which is set in an alternate dystopian world where humans have been reduced to a virtual wasteland.
It also features a number of the song’s collaborators including the Grammy-nominated rapper J. Cole, whose song “Criminal” was also nominated for a Grammy in 2016.
Crayman said that while he didn’t want to talk much about Lyricisms music, he does plan on releasing more music from the movie this year.
“That’s one of the reasons why we are putting out an album next year,” he said, adding that he also plans to release his new EP, Life After Death, later this year and is currently in the process of recording a new track with Tyree.
“It’s the one song that I think has the most potential for me to be able to talk to audiences and tell a story with it,” he continued.
“This is just one song, but it’s just as beautiful as the film.”
