Toyota’s Corolla dies as new tyres for Corolla’s tyres fail
A new set of tyres for the new Toyota Corolla model has failed after being installed on the car’s wheels, the automaker said Thursday.
The new tyres were installed on July 31, 2016, according to Toyota.
Toyota said it will replace the tyres with a set of older tyres, which are expected to cost $5,500.
Toyota said the new tyres are compatible with Corolla models that have already been equipped with the new standard set of Corolla tyres.
Toyotas new tyres, sold with Corollas other vehicle brands, have been used to replace the old tyres in the past, but not for the Toyota Corolla.
The new tyres will be used on all Corolla vehicles starting in 2020.
